Founded in Hong Kong in 1979, and with the establishment of Dongguan KEIYIP Engineering Company Ltd. in 1988, KEIYIP has been dedicated to the research, development, manufacturing, and service of medium- and low-voltage power transmission and distribution equipment, low- and medium-voltage circuit breaker components, and power monitoring systems. For more than four decades, KEIYIP has consistently upheld its core philosophy of “Quality First, Professionalism Always.” The company has deeply served the Greater China region (including Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan) as well as broader Asian markets—covering Japan, Vietnam, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Mongolia — successfully delivering thousands of electrical engineering projects and earning strong industry recognition and trust. Now based at its new location in Taichung, Keiyip Electric carries forward the KEIYIP brand spirit and is committed to providing KEIYIP-branded products and integrated service solutions.
International Certifications Since the 1990s, KEIYIP has been officially authorized by China’s Ministry of Electric Power and Ministry of Machinery Industry to manufacture low- and high-voltage electrical equipment, and has obtained multiple international product certifications.

Shaoguan Smart Manufacturing Base – Construction Launched
Construction of the KEIYIP (Shaoguan) Industrial Park has officially commenced. Positioned as a smart power transmission and distribution equipment manufacturing base, the project represents a total investment of RMB 150 million and covers an area of 56.7 mu (approximately 37,800 square meters), marking a significant milestone toward full-scale intelligent and large-scale manufacturing.
2022
Circuit Breaker Testing, Multi-Country Adoption, and Healthcare Project Support
KW2–4000 Intelligent Air Circuit Breaker successfully passed short-circuit breaking capacity and temperature rise tests.
Awarded the contract for low- and high-voltage power distribution equipment for the China Unicom (Hong Kong) IDC Data Center.
Selected for the 18th time as a supplier of low-voltage distribution equipment to Shangri-La Asia Limited.
Provided full support for the expedited delivery of the Hong Kong “Community Isolation Facility” hospital project.
2021
VCB Certified by DEKRA DTC & Major Healthcare Infrastructure Projects
KEIYIP Vacuum Circuit Breaker (VCB) successfully certified under DEKRA DTC (Germany).
Successfully awarded the mega-scale power distribution project for the Macau Islands Healthcare Complex, covering comprehensive electrical and distribution systems.
2020
Asia’s First IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Certification
KEIYIP became the first power monitoring system integrator in Asia to obtain IEC 62443 cybersecurity certification, marking a formal entry into the field of cybersecurity-grade intelligent power systems.
2019
Global Expansion Launched – Major Engineering Projects Delivered
Establishment of the Philippines Office, marking the official launch of overseas operations.
Successful completion and handover of overseas engineering projects, including the Vietnam Virginie Project and the Shangri-La Hotel, Sri Lanka.
Launch of major projects in the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area, including the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge (Hong Kong Section) and the Guangzhou–Shenzhen–Hong Kong High-Speed Rail.
Providing power distribution and technical support for the MEGA 2 Data Center, Hong Kong.

Power Monitoring System Officially Launched
The KEIYIP proprietary power monitoring system has been successfully introduced to the market, expanding our service portfolio into the fields of intelligent monitoring and energy management solutions.
2013
Dual-Standard Acceptance & IEC 61439 Certification Achieved
Awarded the “One Country, Two Systems” demonstration project at the University of Macau, Hengqin Campus, and successfully passed dual-standard acceptance by both Mainland China and Macao government authorities.
In the same year, achieved ASTA certification under IEC 61439, with circuit breaker products certified to both CE and GB international standards.

Haikou Branch Established & DEKRA Certification Achieved
Establishment of the Haikou Branch Office.
KEIYIP’s first invention patent technology was successfully filed and approved, and subsequently type-tested and certified by DEKRA (Germany).

Recognized as “Guangdong Well-Known Trademark”
Following official approval by the Guangdong Administration for Market Regulation, “KEIYIP” was formally recognized as a “Guangdong Well-Known Trademark.”

Sangyuan Factory Established – Recognized as a National-Level Equipment Supplier
Official launch of the KEIYIP Sangyuan Factory, alongside the establishment of the Shanghai Office.
In the same year: Selected as a member of the National Design Committee for GCK200-Z Equipment. Appointed as a primary supplier of low- and high-voltage equipment for BYD manufacturing facilities. Awarded major municipal infrastructure projects in Guangzhou, including Guangzhou Metro Line 2 and the Guangzhou New Sports Center.

Obtained ASTA Type Test Certification (UKAS, United Kingdom)
Certified by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) with ASTA Type Test Certification, demonstrating that the company’s products meet internationally recognized quality and performance standards.

Formed a Joint Venture with Japanese Partners and Implemented International Quality Management
Established Dongguan Meiden Electrical Engineering Co., Ltd. through a joint venture with Meidensha Corporation and Jardine Engineering Corporation, and achieved ISO 9001 certification for the international quality management system.
1995
Approved by National Authorities for High- and Low-Voltage Manufacturing Qualifications
Granted high- and low-voltage electrical manufacturing qualification certificates by the former Ministry of Electric Power and the Ministry of Machinery Industry, establishing a strong foundation of professional compliance for the expansion of the company’s integrated equipment business.
1991
Trademark Registration Approved and Second Manufacturing Facility Established
The “KEIYIP” trademark (Class 9) was officially registered (Registration No. 541638), and in the same year, the Lianguang Plant (KEIYIP’s second manufacturing facility) was established, expanding the company’s production capacity and manufacturing footprint.
1990
Cross-Regional Project Delivery and Nationwide Market Expansion Initiated
Undertook the electrical engineering project for the Beijing Airport Hotel, marking the successful expansion of KEIYIP’s distribution panels beyond Guangdong and signaling the company’s entry into the nationwide market.
1988
Manufacturing Facility Established in Dongguan and the “KEIYIP Box” Launched
Established a manufacturing facility at the Dongguan Agricultural School campus in Guangdong Province and commenced the production of standardized distribution panels, marking the official launch of the “KEIYIP Box” and rapidly building strong market recognition.

KEIYIP Engineering Co., Ltd. was established in Hong Kong, focusing on electromechanical installation services while also engaging in the sales of electrical products, laying a solid foundation for the company’s long-term development in the South China power engineering market.
